    Here is the current fix list;

    -- Fix crashing Early Campaign startpos file.

    -- Add splines for campaign roads to global graphics pack.

    -- Move all factions to full AI, if needed, in both startpos.esf.

    -- Remove additional recruitment slots for France, Prussia, and Spain.

    -- Find place for 'European Doctrine' for eastern factions.

    -- Add HusserlTW's fix to his startpos files for missing emergent religious buildings.

    -- Fix missing general recruitment on minor faction government buildings.

    -- Move 'Minutemen' to conscript recruitment time for the US.

    -- Tighten the Free Company's recruitment area using the new region resources.

    -- Increase recruitment time for ALL Elite Units of America.

    One of the first major changes coming with the BETA will be the option to play the late start campaign or the regular start campaign.

    HusserlTW updated the startpos files released with the EUA and I've been adapting both startpos files to APE: TI.

    I will be collecting the bugs from various threads and marking them as either fixed or going to be fixed on this thread, so keep an eye on it!

    All DLC units, including the new Elite Units of America, will be available in BOTH campaigns!

    The missing localization strings for several units have been fixed.

    There is also going to be a general rebalance applied to the EUA DLC units.

    The first BETA here will mostly be for early and late campaign testing.

    We will be releasing HOTFIXes for the BETA over the next two weeks to add in a more complete set of Native American factions -- we'll also be working to complete the rosters for some of the minor nations.

    Because of the slightly lazy way I made the launcher it will only work if your Empire is installed on the C drive and in the default steam directory.

    I WILL be updating the launcher as well, so expect it to be a bit more intuitive in the future!

    No, as with all DLC -- you must own it in order to have them present in the game.

    Now, this may cause an issue because without the DLC the native factions will have no units to recruit! (Though, I am unsure of how the AI would handle this.)

    The problem is that all the native units are doubles -- so if we leave the native factions' rosters with the DLC units and the vanilla units then the recruitment queue is doubled with units plus some new ones.

    We'll see what we can work out!

    Hmm that is a huge shame... at least AUM and ornamentum have a couple units in there regardless (as i describe in the NA thread).

    I can't imagine i'm in the minority here either, have a lot of people bought warpath?

    I see it's only 10 bucks but then again it's a road I don't want to start going down.... pretty soon you've paid 80 bucks for a game you don't' even play but only need to play the mod you like.

    I see they seemed to have toned down the offensive bright red color of their skin... trying to think of positive things to say!

    I see in the launcher that you have a checkbox for AUM, I forget, but does APETI come with AUM bundled or will that checkbox only come into effect if it detects AUM installed as another mod?

    Well, since we will be using the installer, in future versions, to handle mod loading order for supported mods that checkbox is there to be checked if you have AUM installed and wish to use it.

    AUM does not currently come with APE: TI, you are correct. Ornamentum is packaged with APE: TI now and may have it's own checkbox as well.

    Any ideas or suggestions on what options you like to see, please post them up and I will see if I can do it!

    Is it possible we can implement more skins, or history accurate skins... for example, red coats for English, and more faction specific cannons, and more and more history... (wish the history part can be link to whichever faction player choose..)

    And Is it possible we can have more regions within factions? For example: more regions in France and Spain?

    P.S. To: APE:TI Team, thank you so much for created such a master piece (to me it's more than just a game), I finally found my $50 worth something here.

    The artwork comes from a Prussian campaign of mine; you can see my Prussian line firing down the hill at the Redcoats -- I then oilbrushed it inside GIMP.

    Skins packs, yes -- get specific ones listed and we can talk to the authors to have them officially supported!

    Dear APETI team, I just want to express my gratitude for making a launcher for this mod. I am a hardcore mod user, and it will surely help me to keep all file where it must without having to reinstall or uninstall other mod. This is for me greatly appreciated and knows that I am a great fan of the feature of the last version. My last campaign mod was 2 week ago and I remember the challenge it was in the campaign map. APETI is about that: Challenge and realist in campaign map, that make the battle even more crucial: What I mean is you MUST chose wisely the battle you’ll get involved or you can have a bad surprise. Menpower system remind me of Europea Universalis, a great strategy game. In APETI my fun is to take a minor nation and trying at least to survived and expend myself. I am also a great fan of Skin mod, I do not ask for more unit but some retextured unit for minor nation. I like to feel the “War” in all is aspect and the soldier’s uniform make me feel like a true commander and seeing my troops killing the enemy is so sweet.

    So I am curious, what feature, except the incredible launcher this new beta will add. (I cheek this thread one time a hour, (maybe less XD or more) to see some news about that. ) If I misunderstand and it will only be the launcher the new feature, I am sorry, but for me this will be awesome! If there is more, then my curiosity is about to killing me! Well that it! Hourrey for APETI! Hourrey!

    The other major addition added with this BETA is a late campaign start with most emergent factions unlocked!

    The BETA is now available for download! Check the first post!

    I will be changing the loader to add a custom load line and trying to gain some persistency with the checkboxes.

    The two center checkboxes (Warpath Natives and Ornamentum) will need to remain checked or unchecked depending on the savegame you wish to load -- they must match the state the campaign was started in.

    The formations and smoke and blood boxes can be turned on or off as you please.

    hi,


    i tried to start the early campaign with the new beta (also latest hotfix 03.01.10) but when the campaign map is loading the game crashes again. i also tried this with/without ornamentum and the other submods and i re/installed the complete beta twice. Maybe the latest patch fixed the issue not completely

    The late Campaign works for me so far. By the way great mod, i hope the early campaign will work soon

    Yes, as noted on the first post in the current fix list -- the early campaign does crash.

    I have not released a HOTFIX for it yet! It is stable on the dev platform but I am still testing before releasing it. Keep your eye on this thread for an update!
