You are the fisrt to talk about the death penalty, even though the guy wasn't sentenced to death.

I am factually correct in every way. If you had an alternate meaning you ought to express it with written words. Rape and kidnapping are not capital offenses, and I don't know of many peoiple that think it should be.

Incidently I was on a jury 15 years ago and freed a man accused of a similar crime that had stronger evidence than this.

Good thing innocent people are never convicted in any other country besides the US. What kind of world would that be?

Who? The jury? Do you really think they should be punished?

Are they granted the right to randomly send innocent people to jail?

What's the difference? Does he suffer less?

ofc it happens, hell I belive the longest serving UK prisoner to be found innocent had served 27 years, but it is also why the death penalty is such a terrible idea. (Even if at times I do feel some people just need killing, I cannot support the return of the death penalty because of cases such as this)

If that man was white, he probably would have never been convicted, but THIS IS AMERICA

Good thing you don't have life sentances either. He wasn't on death row...

Not in this case no, but you have to see what I mean, miscarriages of justice happen in every legal system, for many reasons, it is damn hard to bring someone back from the dead when it turns out they where the wrong person.

It may just be me, but I have the strong feeling that if they thought he was innocent they wouldn't have sent him to prison. Weird right?

I don't judge people by what they think, but by what they do. All persons have evil minds if you ask me.

Um, why are you angry that it correctly tells readers where this happened? That's one of the most basic tasks of journalism.

your constitutution was written by slave mongerers who convicted innocent black men right from the get go. In fact, i read in Time magazine that America ws invented to make the process of convicting innocent black men more efficient.

That's what I was getting at. The "Darkie clause" made it mandatory that every black male that ever comes before a US judge must serve a minimum 20 years in a federal "pound me in the ass" prison. It's the only part of the constitution that cannot be changed by amendment.
