    Default Crashing at 255bc?

Ive had 2 campaigns that have reached this date so far. And they both crash in the ai turn in 256 bc. ( i think anyway. 1 definatly crashes at 255 but the other i dont know the exact date. It must be around the same date though. Any ideas? Thanks

Do you have a specific error or does it CTD? All my five games so far have crased between 258-263 BC, and I keep getting the same error (pure virtual function call).

just reloaded an earlier save and now it crashed at 260. so i gues its not the date. these isnt a error message or een a CTD. it just stops. saying its the enemies turn for ages. the little trade ships move e.c.t but nothing else works and if you try to load the autosave of that turn (or the real save if i saved it that turn) it dose ctd. no message though

Hm. Strange. Are there more people having this error?

And what are you doing when it crashes? Are you besieging a settlement that'll become yours when it CTD's??

Hi i am new to this forum (but Im familiar with RTR) and i also have this problem.
    Around 260 i always get a CTD.
When i first got this i just continued with a previous save but got a CTD again.
Im playing with the gold edition.

How odd is that! Many people run campaigns for hundreds of turns totally error-less (including me) while others can't get past that specific date of +/- 260 BC

    What .exe and/or CD/DVD are you all using? (RomeTW.exe RomeTW-BI.exe or RomeTW-ALX.exe)
    What faction(s)?
    What are your computer specs?
When exactly does the CTD occur? (At the end of your turn, during your own turn (and what are you doing then) or during the AI turn (and what is the AI doing then))

Another maybe very important question... What's your (everyone who is getting the +/- 260 BC CTD) policy regarding adopting family members? Do you accept them? (always?) or do you always ignore them?

nearly always ignore them. and cant think of anything big that could cause it. when dose macaonia emerege? i heard it was around this time so that might be why

    Let see...
I am playing with the Gold Edition, all my campaigns on FOE were with Epirus (although im a Carthage fan). And the CTD occurs during the AI turn, just after the Barbaroi have finished.

Regarding your last question: I always ignore those family member messages, but lately i accept them sometimes if they have nice traits and being young isn't a bad thing either.

I have CTD at 263 BC when I was playing as Numidians, I think CTD was caused, because I added 5 units in recruiment list in my capital (because I could not forget to recruit them) now I never try to do same again and I had not even single CTD.
