Post your "Comedy" Armies

Sometimes I field armies that make no sense but are effective. As France I did an all peasant infantry army. As Kievian Rus I did an all Kazak cavalry army. As Egypt I'm using an all cavalry army:

Eventually I think I'll replace the mercenaries and use 19 Desert Cavalry and a General but for now its great fun stomping Sicilian armies across North Africa with this.

One time, in vanilla, i made an all cavalry army myself, as the HRE. I called it my "panzer-division" on account of the whole german mounted force thing , and that every unit in that army was armed and armored to the teeth. To complete the whole panzer thing, the army included armored reiters, man, it was great fun riding around europe with that army. I cant remember what happened to it sadly, oh well. Im sure the russians ground it into bits or something.

I like to do all cavalry armies as the Byzantines to combat the Golden Horde. I usually do 4 light lancers (Stratatoie), 7 heavy cavalry (Pronoraii/Scholarii/Archon---), 8 horse archers(Cavalarii) and a general. It's a bloody good mess of destruction that the Mongols can't withstand all too often.

I like to do full armies of Huscarls when playing a Nordic faction. That's just hilarious. Anything they come in contact with pretty much gets annihilated.

Hehe look like im not the only fan of such armies I love annihilating enemy armies with all cavalry armies - all fari cavalry almoravids army, all mamluk archers by fatmids, all cavalarii by byz (although in my current campaign im still using a full stack of mounted acritae). I remember one time when i had 2 stacks of fari cavalry one of them rebelled i had a real problem to get rid of them from my lands. In earlier versions of ss when viking raiders were very cheap to support i was using their 2 full stacks to raid egyptian, turkish and moorish towns and castles and then i was selling all of their buildings and then selling that settlement to some faction. Now vikings arent that cheap anymore

I just hate it sooo much when the enemy has HAs,really hard to catch,in vanila i made an army of 10 units feudal knights and 10 more dismounted i just loved those knights back then.

It was just like cheating. They are horse archers, they are very well armoured, they have ap melee weapons, and you could recruit/retrain them in almost every town.
It was a lot of fun, but I got bored when I conquered Italy and abandoned campaign then

armies of peasants plus peasant archers are always great fun ! especially when i win with said armies !

Half stack of any direct fire artillery (such as ballista) and half a stack of catapults/trebs/cannons etc. Add in a general with high dread and go fight some heavy infantry armies. Almost every time their guys rout when they charge into your ballista, lol.

Expensive, loses versus any kind of cavalry but oh god when it works, the carnage....
