Default "Man as just another animal - the most vicious of all."

That's one of the nine Satanic statements. Do you agree with that?

I think the evidence is overwhelmingly conclusive.

Considering that Satanism usually puts you at the center of the universe and you deserve everything and blabla (A.K.A gives solace to agnsty teenagers), that's surprising, really.

"The nine Satanic sins are: Stupidity, pretentiousness, solipsism, self-deceit, herd conformity, lack of perspective, forgetfulness of past orthodoxies, counterproductive pride, and lack of aesthetics."

Some good sins to believe in there as well.

I find the gist of the statement somewhat moot, as "vicious" is not a descriptor applicable to nonsentient animal incapable of moral choices...
How did Marx put it ? "An animal does not think of its actions; it is its actions" or something along those lines.

Reason is merely an extension of our instinct.

    Humans are what they do.
Is a person always good in all circumstances? Are they bollocks.
If you’re in a hurry do you stop to help old grannies cross the road? Yeah, riiight.
Humans are defined by their actions and their actions depend on circumstance.

So if the definition of an animal is a creature that IS its actions then humans are animals.

Whats right and wrong is simply a point of view regardless of how you think about it.

True, but not the point; which was that humans have the capability to analyse, plan and generally think out their doings, as well as to plan ahead, whereas animals are effectively stuck in the stimulus-response pattern.

Or as it is often illustrated, if you're in an empty room and suddenly a ball bounces across the roomto your field of vision, what do you do ? A cat for example will tend to chase after the ball, because that's how cats are built; a human is wont to get intensely curious about where the ball came from...

Homo sapiens sapiens is literally an animal. Anybody who denies this does not know the definition of animal.

Can't agree with 'the most vicious of all' though.
In some cases, sure, but not as a general rule.

Does any other animal species kill other members of it's own species on a massive scale?

You haven't been directly involved in a war. But it's something we do as a species in the general sense.

So do chimps and gorillas, and other classes of social animals. I'm not sure that behaviour itself makes us the most vicious.
Especially considering that we do have built a society (or at least some of us have built a society) where the weak are tolerated, looked after etcetera, and where even other animal species are treated with respect.

So no, I'm really not convinced about that.

There is yes, maybe not in this massive scale, becouse they cant, but if they could they wont go against their nature.

Yes, man is the most vile of creatures. He brings untold pain and misery to those who doesn't deserve it, he consumes more than he needs and he destroys without remorse. He is the epitome of evil. He has destroyed his abode.
