Scotland Event
I've been playing SS for a few days now, and I decided to play as Scotland after defeating them as the English. The William Wallace event came up, and I thought that was cool and kinda gave me a reason to be Scotland even more, but when I played as them it never happened as I thought it was a timed event.
I beat the long campaign as Scotland and the event never occurred. I was pretty pissed. Anyone know how I can get that event to happen when you're playing as Scotland?
Thanks much.

Re: Scotland Event
I believe the trigger is when you fall BELOW a certain number of cities / generals. So if you are successfull with the Scots, you'll never see him.

So I'm going to have to intentionally give up land just to get him? I only start off with three so how many cities/castles would I have to give up?

not sure, but I believe Edinburgh has to fall, and then he will appear. Not a timed event, it's meant to show the Scottish resistance to an English ass-kicking.

Do a forum search. This has been asked and answered several times before, including how to get him to appear for players without having to come to the brink of defeat first.
