    Default Red Dead Redemption

This looks amazing, I especially like the look of rodeo gameplay and capturing outlaws, looks like great fun.

    Thoughts?

Wow. I'm sold. I really liked Red Dead Revolver even though I thought it was lacking in certain aspects and a bit too cartoonish, but this looks absolutely excellent. I'm getting it!

I'll doubly enjoy it if you can get new clothes and stuff for Marston, could be pretty cool with different outfits and many different guns.

Rockstar did the same with Bully, slowly the PC is being ignored.

Red Dead Revolver was also console only.

    And it was awesome.

Clearly the new game will lack the camp (and the camp charm) of the old, but a persistent Wild West world sounds great anyway.

I'll definitley be getting it, I feel like Rockstar are being really ambitious with this game, it's going to be great. And Jin, I think you will be able to, the vid has him wearing quite a few different outfits, plus there are loads of stores so I guess one of the main things to buy will be outfits and weaponry. And TB, this is still an early build, they still have over 4 months to fix the game up.

And GTA4 showed the same signs pre-release and which was still in the final game
Hence I said "I do hope"

As for the PC version, well remember that GTA4 wasn't announced for PC until later.

I'll probably still get this although I hope for a PC version just think of the mods they could do for this game.

True, but remember that is an open world game, so there's a lot of things to render etc, so a drop in graphical quality is inevitable. I mean I don't even notice the frame rate issues.

Well I noticed it in GTA4 console-version even more after trying the PC version which is alot smoother.
Guess it wore off on this game now.

    Meh, console only.

Me needs a proper cowboy game on PC, especially an open-world one.

    Looks proper horror show though.

I've really been waiting for a game like this. I tried to like Gun, but just couldn't get into it. Never tried Call of Juarez but it seemed to Arcadey to me. Red Dead Revolver is the only western game I've liked so far, but Redemption really looks like it's going to be enjoyable.

Not sure which one you mean, but I thought the 2nd Call of Juarez was great, it had a great story and the enviroments were quite varied.

Well I thought about getting the second one, but I never did. I just didn't like what I saw out of it. I don't know.
