Have any of you guys scene the new steam trailer It has some good pieces of gameplay in it.. I have to say it looks much better than empire

What parts of it look better than Empire???

the houses placed in random areas?
the units?
the sprites?
the UI ?

be sepecific plz...

All I see here are nice graphics and better animation.

1. I see nothing about better AI or CAI.

2. Sieges are mysteriously missing just as was the case with ETW.

3. Ship battles still apear to be in open sea space with no other info except there seems to be more smoke.

4. About half the stuff we see is ingame cutscene animations, not stuff you actually do.


Really, it`s pretty obvious that there`s very little of substance here.

It's a story trailer.

On to the video, it was pretty decent but I get the feeling it was directed less at TWC types and more at those unfamiliar with ETW, NTW or the series. I'm very interested in the historical battles and I really hope they turn out to be more of a challenge than ETW's.

Judging from the trailer, there's not a whole lot to distinguish the game from ETW. Wonder why it's "completely separate" from Empire?

Jason Isaacs? Isn`t that the Brit guy who was the villian in The Patriot? I think so.

Good actor, I have nothing against him and he must`ve cost a bit to hire, but CA would`ve done better to put their money to paying an AI programmer to fix ETW and NTW AI instead of aesthetics.

Trailer is good, but the Empire Trailer was also good ... lets see what the game will be

All trailers are made to be good, they want to make the game LOOK as good as possible
Let's hope it actually reflects on the actual game...
