Its easy to make war with others, its never been easy when we need a peace.
My holy damn simple tactic; Strike First, Strike HARD and SHOW NO MERCY.
Afaik it's not possible. Unfortunately![]()
Yeah because he is a general, and generals can only hit with a melee weapon, its hardcoded
Computer specifications -
GPU: GTX 780
CPU: Intel i5 2500k overclocked @ 4 GHz
RAM: 8 GB DDR3
Motherboard: Asrock z77 extreme 4
It is not possible as a general can only use one handed melee weapons without a shield unless someone found where the General class is defined and where it is possible to make him use another weapon and animation.
I saw somewhere a pic of a general with a sword in both of his hands.
Would it be possible to make him a unit and not a general but make him AOR and make the time it takes to rebuy him so big nobody would ever be able to get him back? And then in-game if you wanted to protect him just group him with some archers and pretend their his bodyguards![]()
Yeh it will use a unit count but TATW hasn't reached the limit has it?
You can't have one-man units. And I prefer to have them as generals.
I was not aware that the balrog was a one man unit. I think it's a 4 man unit, last rumour I heard. The only way to get one man unit, I heard, is to have this 4 man unit and play on small scale.
Having a one-man unit balanced for the Hugh scale will mean it's overpowered in smaller scales.
The CoW:TW team did it with their greater demons...
It is impossible to have 1 man units on huge unit scale. The greater demon probably is an elephant type unit. KK said he did not wanīt to use those workarounds as they make the mod unstable. It might become a four men unit or a spawning general for the OotMM. There is not much known about that at this time but KK suggested the last time he spoke on the subject excluding the 1.4 preview that he was not sure of it himself yet either.I was not aware that the balrog was a one man unit. Out topic question
Dread general are better than honor general in battlefield?
Dread - mean to cause enemy loose their morale quickly?
Honor - used for pumping population growth? =)

Honor - your units flee later.
Thanks for quick reply! so it look like this
Dread - cause enemy more early to flee
Honor - My army will fight harder, morale last longer

Dread - cause enemy more early to flee - bonus to public order
Honor - My army will fight harder, morale last longer - bonus to population growth and smaller bonus to public order
The generals themselves donīt use bows they only use swords. The bodyguard units use bows.
