    Default evil building in a good controlled region

    When you invade an evil faction as a good faction and you have evil buildings left in their does it make a difference to the town? Or is it just the same as a good building of the same kind and not make any differance?

    So say if i was dwarves and I invaded an orc town and there was some orc buildings remaining after the sacking would it be better to demolish it and rebuild it as a dwarf version?

    Most buildings will work the same (warg cages will produce cavalry for good factions for instance). However notice that some are useless such as troll cages and you can demolish them without loss.

    I wonder maybe if it would be a semi-good idea to add some sort of culture for all buildings so you will have to demolish any unsavory Orc buildings in your town if you want to make any cultural headway?

    thats why I asked cos it seemed kinda odd that my elves would move in to the orcish barracks? I didn't know whether leaving it there was bad for production or public order or anything or whether it should be?

    Careful when youy demolish buildings your generals may get "bad" traits. Always a good idea to remove the general from the city first.

    I might be day dreaming but it seems that after a while, the buildings sometimes change automatically to match the new culture (maybe those with identical functions as barracks ).

    Oh you are right!!
    That is why i said i might be day dreaming (ooppss ^^).
    The fact is that after a while you don't see those orcish barracks anymore in your towns.

    Yes, you need to upgrade them.

    another feature that was in rome but failed to make it over i loved in bi having a fully upgraded babarian city but in the centre a huge roman temple

    its weird in vanilla if u capture a muslim city the mosque will just disapear and wont be in the building panel

    is it possible to mod back in the view city button for me it just added a bit more flavour

    I thought (or heard?) that it affects culture but I tried some tests on this and it didn't seem to make any difference.

    That was a great feature. It was taken out of M2TW though. I suspect that it's much more than just adding a button - the M2TW engine doesn't have a view city function. Making one would be a huge undertaking.

    A shame they took that out I loved that feature

    All i seem to be hearing is "used to be in Rome Tw" hopefully the next tw game will be a rome 2 and they will add back all these features and more because TBH im sick of hearing it
