Didn't even realize this movie was being made until just now. Looks good.

youtube for u... full of idiots posting.
not attracted to cate blanchett but she is a good actress i guess.
my question is will it beat the famous 1991 release Robin hood prince of thieves? - americans (kevin costner) as robin and his possy, morgan freeman as an arab, alan rickman as a fantastic sheriff of nottingham....unbeatable film tbfh.![]()
Seems a pretty stupid argument. They both involve Russle Crow and swords. So what? Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown both involve Samuel Jackson, Crime and Guns.....

Well, that's the action trailer. Is there a more story-oriented trailer?
Looks cool. It's about time we had a medieval movie.
No thts only the sneek peek there isn't an full trailer yet, on the YouTube channel I got this from it gives you a plot of the film...
Robin Hood chronicles the life of an expert archer, previously interested only in self-preservation, from his service in King Richards army against the French. Upon Richards death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation, where he falls for the spirited widow Lady Marion, a woman skeptical of the identity and motivations of this crusader from the forest. Hoping to earn the hand of Maid Marion and salvage the village, Robin assembles a gang whose lethal mercenary skills are matched only by its appetite for life. Together, they begin preying on the indulgent upper class to correct injustices under the sheriff.

Looks awesome. I wish, though, that they could find an Englishman to play Robin Hood.
Oh, wait, Mel Brooks already did that.
Well, I at least hope that they get Alan Rickman to play the Sheriff of Nottingham.
Why would you want a story-oriented trailer? That'd just spoil the story before you even got to see the movie.
What, spoil the story of Robin Hood?
Ridley Scott tickles my spot, but that was a poor trailer. Generic shots, shoddy cuts.
Disappointed,

Why on earth would you want that? Honestly, Prince of Thieves was decent but its just silly to tie the two movies together. From what I understand Scott is going for something completely different with this Robin Hood. Although watching this sneak peek makes me wonder how much of an empty promise that is.
wonder how awkward of a shift this will be for the character Robin Hood, since they are going for the guerrilla fighter look rather than the thief
