Waiting through turns (fun!)
So, I find myself doing small things around the house sometimes waiting for my turn to come around. This is by no means a slam on the mod, I just found it comical that a game promotes me to do chores around the house.Has anyone else found themselves doing little things and leaving the game up for several hours?

In Australia we call them a 'Shanghai'. You make them out of a rubberband and a paperclip? Once in highschool I aimed one at the back of my sister's head and instead shot our ancient history teacher between the eyes. You know, when I was a kid it took 10 minutes for the next level to load up on a computer game, and then you'd have to turn the tape over to actually play it.
Turn off something like "Show Other Factions' Moves" in Options.
I'm currently playing as England, and after hammering the Scots the Pope went medieval on my ass and booted me out of the God club. Next thing I know, I have dirty foreigners landing on my shores from wierd and far-flung countries. - Sargon_of_Akkad

I usually hit up the bowflex in between turns or I go and make myself a protein shake.
I can usually get a good set or two in between turns. Works out quite well actually.

My monster rig chews up the end turn, so I spend my precious seconds cracking my knuckles and muttering to myself and watching my merchants get hustled.

My computer finishes the turn cycle in less than a minute usually so I just think about campaign strategies usually. At best, I'll just go to the bathroom or get a drink or something.

I often have a TV program going on in the other room which I rush down to watch during the end turn sequence. Only problem is that sometimes I forget I'm playing, and find my mum has quit to get to her emails... damn. I also make food & stuff. Nothing better than defeating the pesky French with a hot chocolate in one hand and a slice of peanut butter toast in the other!

i think there's a room for improvements, if only ALT TAB doesn't pause the AI turns, I'll probably browse the internet while I'm waiting for my turn...
since it's impossible right now, I usually take a stretch on my bed,,,often fall a sleep between turns, and wake up in the morning with my computer still turned on,,,and another turn to be take just to have those florins.
