[Poll] Give us blood!

One of the main things that was missing from empire total war for me was blood and gore that helps to capture the horror of battle. So i made this poll to see how many people feel the same and want to see blood effects in Napolean total war and if you are one of them people who would rather not see blood flying everywhere would you be happy with the option to turn it on and off?

Why am i laughing? Well when RTW was released, there was no blood in that. People complained and Polls were put up for blood, overwhelmingly blood won.

Then CA listend and made MTW2 (the next total war game) have blood and mud.

Now in Empires they decided not to have blood and again we have re-poll for it! Ironic!

Hopefully they listen to us again

There was blood in ETW it just was not a finished feature and it was also very limited. There are a couple of mods that complete the feature here at the twc but I rather it be right from release and not have to be fixed by the community.

Yep, So it would be silly on CA's part to ignore it

Ah no option for couldn't care less so went for no.
At most we could get a little blood like in M2TW. But the T rating is specific to little blood and no gore.
As CA will not change on this rating and some countries are quite strict that is the best we will get.
To be honest probably the most insignificant of the issues with the TW series.

aslong as it won't be like big splashes in the mods we got now, just some shotwounds or cuts and for the one in M2TW, NOT LIKE THAT! characters went all over blood in there. I also hope people will lose arms or such things .

If I'm not mistaken, the current blood mods add puffs of blood when lead, iron or steel hits flesh, but don't leave persistent blood on the men or the ground.

I could live with out the gore but the blood should be a must...

not gonna happen unless they can do it and still keep a teen rating. not sure if that is possible, but from a financial standpoint an M rating is unacceptable.

of course you should be able to toggle blood (as you could in the Myth series of games), but that would require a well plannd, finished game. so fat chance of that either.

I think blood just brings an unnececary amount of gore to the game. Something that in my opinion takes away a lot of the visual candy. I want artistic pictures to look at, not splatter-movie-like screenies. It works in medieval games but i think blood in this era would just look bad and cheap. Toggle on/off could work, but I voted no as this is my personal opinion.
