Bactria campign(downloading problem) please help

Hi friends,

First i would like to thank you all very very much for this exciting MOD im almost upto finishing my roman campign .... i have been playing RTW for arnd 2 yrs and never new mode existed before a month or so
I wanted to inform that the file for BACTRIA BUG that you posted on your home site isn't downloading if you could please see to it i would really appreciate a new challenge.

I used this file to play as Bactria but when I exit I get this error.

Script error in xc/data/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 9573, column 18

Invalid ownership type 'scythia' found in unit 'horse archers scythian horde'

This horde unit has been assigned to a non-hording faction(scythia)

I reinstalled without the patch since the Bactria game started crashing when I hit end turn.

Now a totally different question. Sometimes when you mouse over a rebel unit with an army or assassin it shows a communicate symbol instead of attack. If you do send the assassin in that case the game crashes. Any idea what is going on there?

That's weird, any chance you got a diplomat in your army?

Didn't have any diplomats. It usually happens at a distance and if I move the unit closer it changes to a sword icon.

Check if there's a descr_cursor_actions.txt in your XC folder, if it's there delete it.

Dont have a file by that name. It doesnt always do it, but it has been happening for a long time.

Hi there. I figure that since at least the OP has been fixed I'll avoid starting another thread. I downloaded XC with BI.exe, vanilla borders, landbridges and Prometheus cities. I just tried playing and I get a dialog box asking me to select an item from the list. Exiting, I get an error related to the expected campaign start date.

Just a download bug, or is it possible I've downloaded it to the wrong location? It's appearing as a separate mod file in my original patched Rome installation.

I currently have XGM installed and I'd like to say thanks for the work done with the ethnic traits both there and here.

Do you have BI patch 1.6 installed?
