I would just like to know how much people (especially those who purchased ETW) are willing to pay for NTW. Will you wait for the price to drop or will you be loyal and pre purchase? Im still not sure? Should people who own ETW get a discount through STEAM seeing that CA have admiited that the AI in ETW was not working correctly but have fixed it in NTW.

$40 seems reasonable to me. I'd rather it be $30 or less, but it looks like it'll be worth it.

If the game works as advertised, I'd say $25, $30 tops -- and yes a BIG discount for ETW owners. But please wait until it is released before you buy it (and see what community says about it).

I spent $100AU on Empire, so I guess I'll buy it when it's -$100... no matter what the community says!

$35 I figure. After release that figure may go down to $25. We will see.

50$ at the max, screw this 90$ "special edition", oh and I to think ETW owners should get at least a 10$ discount.

    Let's see.....
several hundred hours of beta testing work peformed on Empire Total War @ AUS$10 per hour. (I'm cheap! Will work for food)
cost of beta software around AUS$100

CA OWE ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS.
How about they give me a free copy of NTW and we call it quits?

Seriously though, I'd pay around AUS$20 in a year or two once it's been thoroughly checked out.

I will wait for price decline, I really don't feel like I got my money's worth on ETW.

Honestly I feel like I really have not even played ETW enough.

I feel that based on my experience with ETW and its issues, NTW should be 15-25 $.

NTW is basically an expansion pack to ETW , with a full install instead of update/additional content.

$0 for anyone who bought ETW and was unsatisfied.

If I do get it, it`ll be in the bargain bin for £5.

If it comes without Steam then I`m willing to go £15.

However, this is hypothetical because I`m not buying a rip off from a company that neither apologies or tries to fix Empires.

I probably won't buy since there's no MPC.

(Who am I kidding, it'll probably be an impulse buy when I'm in HMV one day)

The price on Play and Amazon is £18 I think for the standard game, which is an add-on price, and seems fair to me!
I have the expensive version on order, it's a little over priced for what you get, 10 extra units and a map, feel like I'm being ripped a bit, by about £5-6, but I buy 1-2 games a year so what the heck, sod the expense eh??? We all know that all that extra dosh/rodney/sobs/mueller, goes straight into CA's absolutely enourmous R&D fund(one person working on the BAI and then sodding off) and so making me more blamtastical brilliance, eh what, and all that!!!!!!

For me this game is an extension (there was more difference between M2TW and Kingdoms that between ETW and NTW) - therefore I am willing to pay an extension price - $30.00 top). and that will only happen after listening to user feedback...

    Up to £25 or 25€.

Of course, only if it will be worth it. Meaning it will have none of Empires serious flaws, no additional flaws, will be a real improvement over Empires etc.

And of course, i will only buy the basic version, no imperial edition or any other DLCs (except for the DLC included in the normal edition).
There are no bugs in ETW! The AI works perfectly! We will win! -Comical Keiran

I fear that in the end we will pay around 40 Euro becouse as CA stated before this is no expansion for empire so a stand-alone game.
