    Default Colonial units

    Hello!

    Is it possible to create colonial units only available to one faction. I've successfully created custom units for Sweden but I can't recruit them in my Colonies in North America. What can I change to achieve that?

    Go in db/units table and in RegionIDref column add the entry colonial_euro_factions or americas if you want to have them only in american theater.

    I tried all kind of regions including the one you suggested but it didn't make a difference. Anyway, your post inspired me to look through all settings again and I discovered that the colonial troops allready in the game, also used buildings with a minor_ prefix (minor_governors_palace instead of just governors_palace). Changing that made it all work. Now I have the region set to global and can recruit these units anywhere I go. Great! Thanks!

    Buildings with minor prefix are build in minor cities (one slot) and these without in major (4 or 5 slots). You had assigned the recruitment only to major cities buildings that's why you couldn't recruit them everywhere.
