Is this a DB Error? (Patch3)

im trying to edit the coldstream guards, so that they can only be trained with an army staff college.

i went into building_units_allowed, and removed the army_board for the euro_superior_line_infantry_coldstream (just deleted).

i also made stat changes, and area of recruitment changes (england instead of scotland).

basically, everything apart from the building works. in the campaign, no matter how i tweak it, the coldstream guards can still be recruited in the army board. im using the latest db editor btw, and johans mod_patch3.......

Hi Xenophon, I modded units afer delivering by steam of patch3, I used mod_patch3 of course, since dbeditor 1.7 does not load patch3.pack. What does not work with you, I think is that you cannot mod units in original pack files from CA, they are read only and is not good to mod them
I use to make one my new mod I named it eua_mod in wich I modded eua units making them darth size, plus more changes such units limits abilities and so more, and it works well, I added in it also some units from toon total war, and modifications for units included in darth mod.
So try making a new mod with your cold stream modded, if you want add also texture icons and info files, be sure to add all needed tables such building_units and battle_personalities
let me know about results
don't forget if you use other mods to delete from these other mods cold_stream or if you load another mod with cold_stream in it, you wil have cold stream configured as this other mod does and not your new mod does

yeah, im usin darthmod too. so basically create a new mod, and add the modded coldstream values basically?
