The DMUC QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:Question One: Do I need anything else to play this mod?
Answer One: No, everything you need is in the DMUC mod although I may have patches and/or updates as time passes.
Question Two: Can I add more mods to Darthmod Ultimate Commander?
Answer Two: Yes, The DMUC Launcher has a custom edit feature that allows you to modify the DMUC custom user script to add in your own favorite mods. Please be advised however that there are a lot of mods built in so I can not guarantee every mod out there will work with DMUC. Most should but there may be some that won't. I will try our best to answer questions to help you add mods but at the end of the day I only directly support what is in the DMUC mod.
Question Three: Do I have to use the DMUC Launcher or can I use Mod Manager?
Answer Three: I support the DMUC Launcher. I do not support Mod Manager. For the best results and best compatiblity, the DMUC Launcher is recommended. For those who insist on using Mod Manager for DMUC, PLEASE NOTE: You CAN NOT use the DMUC Launcher and Mod Manager as the SAME TIME!!! Each tries to use it's own user script file. One will try to overwrite the other and WILL cause problems, so DON'T DO IT! If you really must use Mod Manager, the you will have to forgo using the DMUC Launcher. This may also cause some DMUC features to not work properly.
KNOWN ISSUES:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:Due the various BAI Tweaks by Darth Vader, you will notice that the classes of some units have been changed, this was unavoidable.
The DMUC includes custom Menu Movies for the Ultimate Campaign, RTI and Warpath play modes. However these movies will not appear if you have a large number of extra mod pack files in the data folder. The only options are to either remove some other the extra mod files or simply forgo seeing the DMUC Movies (which is too bad, they are cool)
