    Default Native languages used

One element that really made Tolkien's work stand out was his creation of several original languages. Quenya, Sindarin and even parts of Khuzdul could be incorporated into this mod. I personally feel this would really add to the immersion of the game, for example, titles for HE could be changed, such as the leader being called Ereinion, which translates as Scion of Kings, and which was the honourary title of Gil-galad. What do people think of this being incorporated in future patches? Not necessarily 1.4.

i think it would be a great idea well not if we change unit descreption in elvisch but unit names wouldn't be much of a bother and at a great deal of feeling in to the mod, kinda the same sorf of thing with buildings.

Well, obviously not the unit descriptions, just the unit names and also titles and other things. Kind of like what BC is doing.

Yes, i agree that this should be part of the main mod.. But maybe as an separate option during the installation.

In Europa barbarorum this adds a lot to the immersion.

I also agree, this would add a lot to the immersion of the game - just like in EB, as mentioned above.

I don't want to use a translator, but adding the name at the description of the unit would be awesome! Or maybe use both names!

Changing unit title is a good idea, but as others said, the unit description must remain unchanged.

It would be great on names and titles. lol and unit descriptions should include their meanings.

Well, if we think about it some "native language" is already being used. Uruk-Hai for example.

Well, it`s easy to forget since we only have a few examples of the black speech. (The inscription on the ring; Some Orc curse and a few words here and there..)

It could work well for elves and Gondor (using sindarin for everything "official" like latin in medieval) and Rohan could use Anglo-Saxon or old english but for all the other languages we have much to few actual examples. As most of these peoples used Westron, the Common Speech, at least as second language and Tolkien always translates Westron as English I would say it's Ok to have these names in English - otherwise we would have a lot of purely made-up names and words.

On the other hands for the elvish speaking factions I would really like the idea.

Absoulutely not, I hate mods that seem like they are all in a foreign language when they are meant to be in English, it really wrecks the immersion, plus is detrimental to gameplay when you can't tell what units are at a glance.

What about units sounding in their native elven, orcish, or whatever?

This is complete rubbish. When only the unit names and voices are in tongues, it only adds to immersion. You know what an orc, or an uruk hai, or an olog-hai is, is it so much work to learn a couple of elvish names with translations beside them?
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.

A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."

    That's exactly why I didn't mention Westron.

    I like this idea.

    Especially for the elves

Is it possible to include elvis language as a speech to the game?
It would be perfect, if you can hear an elver commander to yell out ordes with their own language

anyway, great idea! more authenticity is fine with me
