Editing the Mod
Hi,
I have a problem and I wonder if anyone can help me with it. I've been trying a bit of self modding lately but whenever I edit the data files I'm always prevented from saving my edits. For example, this morning I went into the descr_names file in order to add a few new names into the game, but when trying to save my work after the editing I was presented with this message:
'Cannot create the C:\Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\SicilianVespers\packs\data\descr_names.txt file.'
Make sure that the path and file name are correct.
No matter what I try I always get this message and are prevented from saving my edits. Does anyone have any ideas on way this is happening and how I can get round it?

Re: Editing the Mod
Perhaps a question of your rights on this pc-system (Vista etc. admin things). You could also check out the properties of the concerning files (ie. read-only ?), while the files come as modfiles open to edit.
