Megaupload transfers rather slow in the moment on my side of the pipe (<60kB). I assume the rates will improve over time. The last version of your mod has been fantastic. I assume this one will be even more so. The ai behavior in the Darth mods start to be a challenge.

"Empire.exe cease to function" is what I have when I launch DMUC.
Tried to launch vanilla and there was no problem.
Am I the only one who can't launch DMUC 4.45 ? I saw that I only need to select the installation folder and let the installer do its work... Dunno what I missed.
I'm having the same problem as Butan have. When I start GC or RTI with DMUC, it crash to desktop.
I'm very sure I did everything right.... At least I did the same thing I always did with the others DMUC

Hey hip, was able to load into my game after several issues, the Alt British units option is new if i am not mistaken, and must be turned on with previous saved games or else I got a CTD. Played a few campaign battles, enemy formed lines and marched my way, neither side had any LI, but i had defenses deployed and they sent the largest group in the middle right where my cannons where. One issue i noticed is that they charge and stop about a foot in front of my cannon. I was thinking they were going to push through the center, but they just halted. My cannons fired another round and they routed.
I'm pretty sure that has been around for a while. I also had a cavalry charge bug. My cavalry was chasing down some routing footmen, and i had them turn and attack the enemy artillery still there. My cavalry charged and stopped about 10 feet away. told them to attack again and they just stood there. They ran about 2 feet, then reformed. This is heavy calvary in diamond formation. I finally had to have them run past the artillery and attack once they ran between the enemy.
Settings i'm playing on
Sweeden VH/VH
Grenades on, Naval mod on, no fife and drums, lite smoke and smoke trails, alt british units on, DM formations on, 2x artillery (the artillery i was facing was still from 1x before i installed DMUC), with Forts.
In first place a huge CONGRATULATIONS!! for this amazing mod. You completely overhauled the experience of playing Empire.
Now let's get to the point. I've started a new campaing as Spain after installing, and at the begining I could see the custom model for the marines in naval battles ( in this case is the model of Infanteria de Marina, from the Ornamentum pack). After a few turns it returned to the vanilla model. Is this some kind of bug with the Naval Mod?? (which is activated all the time), or maybe it returns to the vanilla after some tecnology is investigated??
Appart from that, the artillery x2 option doesn't work for me. Artillery units always show in battle as x1 (4 cannons per unit).
...I could use some help here.
My settings (following goffey's nomenclature):

grenades on, Naval mod on, DMUC skins on, formations on, alt GB units off, smoke and blood on, artillery x 2, no forts off.
I just testing the French 18lber Guard Artillery, I just felt it told too long to get ready to fight a shot. Sometime the horses keep moving around the artillery and wouldn't stop.

I got two questions, first I start my GC, I found out that adviser doesn't speak anymore. Second, every time I try to save the game, I get CTD.

Wow ,I like the British units. The Dragoons look superb. The Scottish units look superb. Wow
Just a question when you install all the drum and fife mods do the specific mods only play when using the selected country. For example you hear the french drum and fife when playing with the french or the british drum and fife when playing with the british. I selected all the drum and fifes mods to be on however the only drum and fife i hear in game is the one i selected last in the darth mod launcher. Its the same music for all nations.
Could somebody please tell me how it works.

This might be a stupid question, but I will do anything to avoid a two-hour download. Does the title "DMUC v4.5.0 to v4.5 Upgrade Released!" really mean 4.4.5 to 4.5? Presumably in that case, those of us who have 4.4.5 should use this download.
Thanks very much, for any clarification. Also, if anyone has an answer to the question I posted elsewhere, as to whether or not those of us in a campaign should start a new one to see relevant fixes (in my case, AI infantry doesn't want to fire its weapons), that would be useful to know, too.

There is a freeze or significant slow down during turn change after about 30 turns. The freeze seems to appear when the ottoman ai player is processed.
"Two issues... I find that there are not enough units and too few factions available for play in the new DMUC. Under DM 3.x you could unlock all factions and mod in the various unit mini mods that allowed for 50+ different units to choose from, unique to each faction. In DMUC there are only about 20 units (unless you are britain).
Are there any plans to expand DMUC to include these very well done unit mini mods and to unlock all factions? Or is there a way to unlock all factions and add these unit mods myself to DMUC?"

and the turks.
I just hope that CA will make a minor patch to get rid of it
