a pair of questions

First off this mod is amazing and I love it period. Now on to the point:

first off with the selecuids what cavalry choice are people going for in multiplayer battles, companion cav or catas? I remebered reading about how good cats are in some guide and personally have found them to be completely underwhelming, they are slow and die very fast even though they have all that armor on, plus they dont seem to kill anything.(any tips regarding successful cat usage is welcomed) meanwhile companian cav are just plain ole' good fast and hard hitting cav, am I missing something here?

Secondly, what are people doing about chariots? They own face whenever I use them, but when I seem some on the oppisite side of the field I quake in fear cause I know I am powerless to stop them. I'm aware if I have my pikemen attack them they die like flies but what if the enemey chariots are far away from my slow pikes, or my pikes are needed to fight something else?

cataphracs= crap they are like what you said slow and crap. they used to be the best HELL they even used to be a special unit. dont you use em the companion are far better and cheaper for multiplayer

about the chariots i have not encountered in my campagin yet but in multyplayer it is best to huuddle your pikes up and wait it out , balistas are good against them allso archers if you have enought of them make short work of them never tried a cav charge in darth i always thought they get slaughterd

what you should fear the most is the mercinary elephants !!! holy crap they can take out a whole army if you dont got peltasts

Hit them with missiles, arrows, and spears. Don't send in any cavalry against chariots, cavalry will lose terribly.
