    Default Battles are laggy...

Hi all, i started playing this mod a while ago and i imediatelly loved it, the problem is that, I don't know why, but all my battles are VERY laggy making it impossible to play. I can't see why that happens since the original medieval presents no problem of lag... I already put all my config to minimun with no results. Can anyone make a better sugestion so I can stop this problem and try to enjoy this game as it supposed to? Thanks!

It basically depends on your rig, on my old pc i had only a little lag (768ram/128 video ram), now with my new one (3 GB ram, 1 video) I don't have lag even on the highest settings.
    So what's your box like?

removing shadows, lowering anti alliasing, removing grass or simply changing unit shader from 2 to 1 makes a lot of difference- plus the appearance of the units etc isnt compromised too much.... unfortunately my pc could handle the highest settings no problem, but now it stuggles for some reason...

In my experience shadows and unit detail make the largest difference.

Oh I forgot to mention V-sync, turn it off!

Unit size also plays a part. After upgrading to my current PC I was able to have battles on maximum unit size BUT only if there was less than two stacks involved (i.e. both sides had less than one stack). Any more than that caused lag that was so bad it would take minutes to shut down the program. I play on Normal (Medium?) unit size now and had no problems with a five stack battle... other than the obvious one of being outnumbered four to one.

My computer isn't so bad... The problem is it video card (Intel G33/G31 Express Chipset Family xD) It have a 3mb RAM and a Pentium Dual-Core 2.60MHZ... I believe this whole situation is caused because of my "powerful" video card, but I wanted to know if there was a way to play it until I buy a better one.

About game configs: Everything is at minimum, without nothing like V-sync/shadows activated.

Oh yeah, I had the EXACTLY same configuration before I bought a new video card, actually I had lag even on vanilla battles and the campaign map lol...

MTW2 doesn't work with Dual-Cores, so if one of them is slower than recommended, the game will be laggy.

Just buy a crap video card, it will work, even 128 or 256mb. Just don't play with an integrated one...

So, does my old Geforce 5600 works on this motherboard? (Pentium Dual-Core 2.60MHZ) I haven't installed it yet because there is a guarantee seal for the computer which cannot be removed or I'll lose it, so i'll only open my computer for a good reason. PLEASE only answer if you UNDERSTAND about it, my computer is at stake.
