What type of hoplite formation are you guys using

Are you using the old hoplite thing from vannila where there where basically phalanxs with hoplite gear.Or are you using the overhand shield wall thing from europa barborum that was really more accurate

I like phalanx, but i tend to go with the historical groove. So sheild wall.
