Ugh. I love how the family members of famous people automatically get a free ride. Isn't it enough you have a rich and famous dad? Why the do YOU get to be in movies you little bastard! Screw this film.

What happened to supposedly Tony Jaa and Jackie Chan doing a Drunken Master 3 where Jackie passes on the drunken boxing skills to young Tony Jaa. That would be 1,304,394 times better than this little punk!!!!

, Yes I agree, especially if Will Smith is not in it. Jackie Chan very good in these types of movies, but that Jaden Smith, he was in "The Pursuit of Happiness"....IMO, he was not very good, and I agree how famous people get to be in movies, especially because of Jaden being Will Smith's son. I bet you that this movie is gonna have a lot of popularity just cause of the movie having Jaden in it!

That's not karate kid, that's just an inner city black kid taking a on the great wall of china as Jackie Chan yells at him.

Damn Jackie Chan is getting old! The original karate kid was in like high school, this kid looks no older than 7th grade.

This movie does not exist. Neither does the one with Hilary Swank. There are only three Karate Kid movies.

I think Karate Kid movies themselves are already heresy...

Mr. Magui was awesome in the first 2.

I don't think so they were the kinda cheesy but loveable b-movies.

this movie will probably be aimed at little children so if you don't have any of those there's no need to worry as you can't be forced to watch this

Word on the street is that this isn't a remake after all, but more of a 'reimagining', and apparently will be called 'Kung Fu Kid' when released.

Yeah I was a bit confused if they were going to call this karate kid, since karate is japanese.


Also karate kid is awesome.

They should do a real Karate Kid instead, where some old Asian dude gets an idiot kid to do all the work for him in exchange for teaching him made up techniques and that kid ending up getting his ass kicked because he thinks he knows martial arts.
