Now, I don't know whether or not doing this to Organ Guns is legal since it's DLC, so if it isn't tell me and I'll replace the pictures with 64 lbers instead.
I figured out how to convert fixed artillery into foot artillery. Here's how.
You have to edit two files: unit_stats_land_tables and units_tables.
In unit_stats_land_tables find the unit you want to modify and change the following columns to what I list:
Animation Table: rider_sabre
Horse 1: horse_artillery
Cavalry Battle Entity: horse_medium
Horse 3: mount_horse
Carriage Battle Entity: gun_train_2_horse
Ammo Train Battle Entity: ammo_caisson_small
Limber: limber_model
File Spacing: 8
Rank Spacing: 12
File_Spacing_Dismount: 1.5
Rank Spacing (2nd column): 3
Is Slow Moving: True
This is using DBEditor; I listed the columns in order from left to right. For those of you already familiar with modding the unit_stats_land_tables, I pretty much copied the information from an Ottoman 24-lber howitzer, minus the Gun ID.
In units_tables find the entry for the gun you want to change and put in the following:
Class: artillery_foot (instead of artillery_fixed)
Edit: I just noticed another table that, although it's not needed to make this work, certainly looks like it might be necessary to avoid bugs I might have missed.
In gun_types_tables, change the artillery type from artillery_fixed to artillery_medium.
And voila, you have yourself a new foot artillery unit! Pictures will be up soon to show you I'm not lying.
