I'm liking how ammo is actually in the ammo pouches.
Those little bits really immerse you.

I'm loving the game, but good lord, did they have to make it completely linear? I mean, COMPLETELY linear?

    Yes, do not question!

I beat the game and, well, I hope there's another ending after another playthrough because this one was underwhelming.

Overall it's a solid game, absolutely breathtakingly beautiful, lots of atmosphere, pretty good combat and nearly Thief-like stealth possibilities, but if I understand where the story was supposed to be going, especially at the end. The linear nature of the game I thought was fine, not much different from Half-Life 2 or BioShock in that regard and they're both legendary.

Well being in subway tunnels I can see why it would be somewhat linear, lol.

But I would like to see branching paths in a game like this. I'll try this out when it's on sale from Steam.

I can see how things this way can be a bit more "funnier".

So far it is pretty good, but god damn all of the nightvision/flashlights gave me a headache. I had to quit playing for a few hours, but then again I went on about a 6 hour straight binge so the headache is expected. Although it is linear its still fun, odds are you could do a brute force playthrough and a stealth one but not much replayability aside from that. And who else hates those little man-pig-rats that run from hole to hole hitting you a few times. I was legitimately angry with them.

I just love how the nightvision is legitimately worthless. It just.... doesn't work for me at all. Give me the flashlight any day.

I use the nightvision allll the time. The enemy cant see you when night vision is, but they can see your flashlight. Are you just blasting through everything? I usually creep around remembering patrol patterns and then put the throwing knives to use. Night vision is perfect for this in the dark tunnels. After I pick off the loners though, the AK47 and flashlight combo comes out for the groups of them

I end up getting a lot of enemies who have night vision goggles.

    Game Story Question below-
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Does anyone know how to get past the part where you are in the train car, and you are right behind the drivers door of the train. This is immediately following the railcar chase scene with you as the mg'er and nazis in pursuit. My compass tells me to go to the front of the train but the blasted door wont open.

You actually go through the broken pipe before you even get to the train. The train is there for you to rummage off some dead Nazis.

Do you guys think this game is worth $50 or should I wait for it to be discounted?
