i'm having a stupif error, about something that should be done straight forward

i checked all names, and they're in descr_names, i tried to change the spouse name to a name im 100% sure it works and it gives the same error..

hi gigantus, i already did tried that, thinking the problem came from the missing surname common to all family but it didn't work

The problem is this line:

character_record  Scheherazade,    female, age 46, alive, never_a_leader

The engine cannot read that name but reads "female" as the name. Therefore this spouse cannot be found:

Sollution: there is a tab missing (can even be two) between "character_record" and "Scheherazade". Either add the missing tabs or copy a character_record of another family tree that is working by guarantee and replace that name with Scheherazade's and set the age accordingly.

i knew the problem was in both of those lines, but i even copied character records from other families that were working and replaced the names and still didn't work

These two lines have spaces instead of tabs. To fix, delete the space between the entries and replace with a single TAB each:

Guess you are using a different editor. Some of them can be set to do that. Check the properties of the editor.
