No way to defend from the Mordor huge stacks

Is there a way to win against 4 mordor stacks by turn 26? I mean come on, give me a break, how in the hell can they have 4 huge stacks by turn 26? This is so im balanced its insane. Gondor will never win

OK, so I have played with Gondor about 5 times now and I keep getting owned. I have played with the elves and all the times I have I have won the campaign, so Why is gondor so hard. I know I have to fight on two fronts but what the hell. Will mordor ever stop sending endless stacks. Its starting to piss me off

Take Cair Andros and at least West Osgiliath. Cair Andros will hold any northern incursions, and at Osgiliath, you can either hold Mordor at the city or at the bridge crossing. Use archers in either case, and lots of them.

Um. How? When I first played TATW, I had much less (Maybe like 4 Gondor Archers and 4 Militiamen), and still won against a much much larger force on the bridge. Probably like 15-30% of the Orcs should be dead before they get to your army methinks.

My archers didnt start firing until they were almost across the bridge and my infantry is just getting eaten alive. Its a full stackk vs a full stack and I cant beleive I lost. This game is really pissing me off

What was Mordor army?
Where did you positioned your archers?

So don't play as Gondor and stick to Elves or Dwarfs. Maybe you simply need some time to familiarize yourself with the way Gondor fights. I don't know. When I first played this game I had chosen Gondor and as far as I can remember I won at least 6-8 battles in a row. All at West Osgiliath.

It's easy to hold them off but its harder to actually go and invade the mordor lands successfully.. I dont understand how you can't even hold them off..

Judging from your earlier pictures i still assume you use crappy send-mens-to-bridge-style.

Keep them at the end of your bay positioned like in this pic

With first tactic you can beat easily 3 stacks and take maybe 10% losses. If you got pelargir marines, use them to throw javelins to trolls.

Once you get cats, try this... they will lose about 100 men on shot and most probably route immediately... Cats are damn good at close distance... Place them right back of your troops, not miles away. HTH
