    Default Force diplomacy?

Is there a submod for SPQR or is it already part of 7.0? Does SPQR have force diplomacy? I just find it very irritating when you've pushed a nation to the brink of destruction, but they refuse to become your protectorate or make peace, it's unrealistic.

To my knowledge, noone wants to become your protectorate.
Only way is to conquer them. This mod is more about fighting than diplotalking.

Well, there is a Force Diplomacy SCRIPT for 7.0 SPQR which is totally working with the add-on. Go for it, you can find it in the FAQ troubleshooting post by Hesus, section downloads, contains manual on how to install and use it.

Ok I have one question about diplomacy in SPQR Total War mod. First I was playing as the Roman Faction, and could recruit Diplomats while I was playing as the Roman, but the when I was playing as the Greek Cities or the Carthaginian Factions I couldn't not recruit diplomats. I even cheated and upgraded All my Cities and Couldn't recruit diplomats. Do that only happen to me or just the Roman can recruit diplomats and the other factions can't?. Can someone help me pleased, thank u,.....

Yes, I recall reading in the FAQ (frequently asked questions, the one you asked just now) that diplomats have been disabled for all factions but the Romans, take a peak!

The reason why diplomats where removed is because they tend to bribe cities witch would make the superfaction fix unstable.

I hate to say it, but there is readme file packed with it. Let me quote for you

This is the “Readme” for the Forced Diplomacy

    A) INSTALLATION
    1. There are 4 files you need to unzip / extract to a folder on your computer. These files are named as follows:

    export_advice
    export_descr_advice
    Force_Diplomacy
    Read me

    Thereafter,
    2. Copy the “export_advice” file into Data/text folder (click "yes" to replace existing file).
    3. Copy the “export_descr_advice” file into the Data folder (click "yes" to replace existing file).
    4. Copy the “Force_Diplomacy” file into the Data/script/Show_me folder (it will not replace any existing file).

    B) HOW TO USE IN THE GAME
    1. Use a diplomat and the diplomacy screen opens,
    2. Click the “?” button at the top right hand side corner,
    3. Thereafter click the “show me” button in the advisor menu that pops up in the top left hand side corner,
    4. Close the advisor menu.
    5. Now the AI will accept any proposal you will give.
Please note that you will need to follow B1 to B5 each time you wish to use forced diplomacy.

    3) WHEN TO USE THE FORCED DIPLOMACY
Forced diplomacy should only be used with common sense, i.e. forcing AI to accept something that the player would accept himself,
or if this is the only way to manage a situation where a superpower faction is about to be created.

Oh, I may know the reason.
Originally uploaded file got lost I believe, and whoever reuploaded maybe put in just the FDS files, not the readme. In that case for the confusion!!!
