The Grand funeral of Bibulus and Culleolus
Hundreds of buryings and cremations took place on the days after the great disaster, however, a major ceremony was held for the Tribune and extribune, Senators Decius Festinius Bibulus and Aulus Statius Culleolus. Beginning at the temple of Jupiter, the bodies of the two men were taken in a procession across the city of Rome, where thousands of Romans watched from the streets and joined the caravan, to give their last goodbye to the two Plebians, the two Tribunes, who had died at the very hands of Rutulus, whose head now hung at the Forum.
People threw flowers on the streets were the coffins and their cortege would pass, led by none other than the Pontifex Maximus, who was flanked by lictors holding fasces, behind whom each body was held up by 6 Pontiffs.
All Senators, soldiers, priests, guards and common people were invited to join the column of people, as they headed to where the bodies would be cremated, outside of the city's walls.

Herius Aebutius watched as the prossession made its way past. He'd not really known either man, but knew that the way they died wasn't a fair one.

Re: The Grand funeral of Bibulus and Culleolus
Proculus walked solemnly behind the column as it wound its way through the city streets, he didn't want to be there, he'd much rather be lounging in the baths at his recently acquired house but he had to get his name known by the people and the senate.
He may rouse himself to do a speech, he may not.

Epidanus followed the procession, himself knowing the late Senator Bibulus... He showed a passive face but held a sorrowful interior

Scirbonius walked along with the funeral procession with a stoic, considering look on his face. He never spoke a single word during the entire ceremony.

Caesar also followed the ceremony.
