I know its possible to tighten formations, so the men stand closer together. Is it possible to loosen certain parts of the formation, not just every guy in the regiment? I want to put a noticeable gap in between the 2nd and 3rd ranks. So regardless of how many men are in a rank, or how many ranks there are, there will always be that gap in between ranks 2 and 3. Has anyone tried something like this? Can it be done? If no one has tried, where would you begin in trying to find out?
