sorry im a noob please help!! urgent lol

hey guys im not very good with computers etc etc, but i just downloaded the BC patch 2.0, and for some reason each time it finishes downloading, whenever i click the link to open nothing happens, you any one be bothered enough or bored enough as to tell me how to overcome this issue, since i am anticipating playing this game more than anything lol??????

What link do you click after downloading? You mean: .exe file?

lool yes of course i have, ermm i got a new comp, and i had mtw2 on disk, but that was corrupted so i just bought a new game from steam, maybe thats the problem possibly? since its on steam (i dont know argggg) ermm, and im using vista i heard there was an issue with vista users when downloading?

but yes i did follow the instructions, and copy and pasted that link to locate ur mtw2 file in that slot before installation, but after installation, every time i click to open the B.C. icon on my desktop nothing happens???

been looking through cheers for this i will give it a try, but im really sorry for being annoying, and pathetic most of the info means jibberish to me, i truthfully am terrible with computers

lol, ill give those a try, wats the most confusing where i have to go into the actual files, and re-add or delete files that exists to me only superman can overcome those types of things. haha but ill be giving this a shot till i finally am able to play.

There's nothing to sorry about. The purpose of this forum is to serve those who ask questions.

I cannot help you more, because I know almost nothing about how Steam works. Also, if you have very limited knowledge about some things then it will be very difficult to help you. I advice you either to start to learn about computers or ask a friend of yours for help.

Both ways are good. But comination of these two is even better.
