CTD...
I downloaded FoE recently so i decided to play RTR Platinum 1.9 again.
I am currently playing as Rome and the year is winter 241BC. However whenever i end this turn however, i get a CTD. I was wondering if anyone knows what is causing this and more importantly does anyone know a solution to the problem?
If it helps, i contorl all of Italy and Sicily, and have fortified the alpine passes. I control Illyria and Byzalora and there is macedonian army below it. There are a further 2 next to Skodra. I also ontrol Aleria and most of the richest Carthaginian cites(hippo regius to lepis magna) and currently have Thapsus under siege with a merc army. Ummmm...the sicilian&north african cities regulary riot. Parthia and Armenia have been destroyed....thats about it.
I pressed 'space' to speed up the movement of a diplomat in africa would this have an effect?

Re: CTD...
Does it happen when you press the button or at a specific factions turn? Have you installed the rebellion-ctd hotfix?

Re: CTD...
It happens when i click the 'end turn' button, its blacks out immediately and crashes. No i haven't installed the rebellion CTD hotfix....or at least i don't think i have.
I have tried a few things and i believe the problem is sorted for now. I just referred back to my saved game 1 year earlier and it doesn't seem to have any problem atm.

Re: CTD...
Something intended to cure what you probably have.

If you`re using the mod switch version of RTRPE and by implication will install the mod switch version of the fix make sure to do this correction too:

Re: CTD...
I meant manually editing the descr_model_battle. Post the exact message you get when the game crashes(try to take a screenshot of it).

All`s well when it ends well.
Hopefully you`ll not have anymore serious problems for the rest of the campaign. Have fun!
