Auto Save-Windows 7

In the preference txt. of RTR V11, I cannot turn the auto save feature off. I get a message saying unable to open FOE\preferences\preferences.txt. What can I do now? I really enjoy playing this mod. You guys did do an excellent job in making this mod. Keep up the good work. Thanks inadvance.

if you copy the preference file to your desktop edit it cut and paste back into the original dir copy and replace

Run the exe as administrator, then changes made to preferences will be saved to the file in the data folder, not the hidden one, also permission problems should be a thing of the past.
