Flags

Hello, I'm new here. Just started playing this, and very impressed. Only downsides I have found yet is that the world map is a bit too big and overwhelming but that's just a matter of getting used too. The other thing is that they're no large flags on the battle map to show where your units are and everything. I know this makes everything more 'realistic' but in the heat of battle, things can get very confusing and I would much prefer to have these large flags to show where my units are, wether they're routing, etc...

I can't seem to find an option in the option or the UI options to turn these on. Is there any way to turn these on, and if not, why not?!
