Can't do anything. Please help.

Hi, love the mod, but lately I've been getting CTD for every single little thing I do; Open up negotiations with the Koinon Hellenon at Massilia=CTD, ending my turn without the script=CTD, ending turn WITH the script=CTD, and I tried checking if any AI cities were close to rebelling, but only get as far as enabling toggle_fow and 5 seconds after: CTD, stare at the screen to see if anything happens=CTD.

I'm playing as the Romani, just began an invasion of Spain and I'm at war with the Lusotanna and Koinon Hellenon (Massilia rebelled to them). The year is 228 BC.

Edit: The save can be emailed at request to any kind soul willing to help.

that must be quit frustrating, it seems as though you might have a corrupt save, also did you install the 1.2 fixes? try posting your saved game and ill have a look.

Yes it's incredibly frustrating, and all the fixes for 1.2 are installed. Thanks for your offer to help! Here is a link to my save:

Edit: Just noticed that all my saves suddenly have the Half-Life 2 logo for some reason I can't understand.. Could that be a problem?

Edit2: Tried reinstalling EB and started a new campaign, so far so good except for a strange occurance, the game EXITED to desktop, not and CTD, more like when you press Alt+tab :S. Will play roughly the same way as I did before to see if the problem creeps up around the same time.

can t seem to be able to download your file, tried several times it would either say that the session has timed out or prompts me to subscribe to premium membership; in any case by what you say it seems clear that you have a corrupted save. Do you have any other Mods in your RTW file, that would explain the instability, and the exit to desktop, also does it show you any error messages.

No other mods installed, no error message. I will however try to reinstall RTW aswell, to make 100% sure that no trace of other mods exists. Do you have any tips for trying to prevent corrupt saves? Thanks for your help, really appreciate it

keep several saves of your current campaign in a folder outside RTW, always create new saved files, dont overwrite the same one constantly. personally I keep a save for every five years, and I create a new saved file for every year, which I will subsequently delete the next year. In my experience an incorrect install of the minimods for EB may cause the game to become more unstable as well as make it exit to desktop for no apparent reason, so when installing follow instructions well (ask if you are unsure) and always backup your files.
