I might get some flames about this but what the heck. First, I'd like to say that I own every TW game and every expansion, have tried many of the better mods, and I'm overall a huge fan of CA and its products. I'm very excited by this mod, being a huge fan of the books and all. Reading the forum, however, and looking at all the points raised by other posters, I'd like to suggest to the team to have a look at a new game, just published. It's "King Arthur, the Role-Playing Wargame", by Neocore games. I'm not sure how moddable it is although I understand from some posts in their forums that there is, at the very least, some potential for moddability. The game, having a very strong RPG element, as well are recruitable characters, a morality system, and the possibility for quests, seems a very good fit for the books. The battles are very similar to the TW ones and include some mechanics (such as hero leaders with special abilities, and the use of magic) that seem better developed than the TW games. Oh, and there's a huge wall in the game (Hadrian's, in this case, but it might well be moddable to portray Westeros' northern ice wall).
I'm sure this would be an immense amount of work and certainly don't mean to sneer at current efforts (hell, I'll be sure to download this mod when it's finished). Just wanted to open up another possibility for fans of Martin's works.
