utorrent screwed up

hi

my net was messed up, and i had to call the support assistance to revive the modem

by telephone they told me what to do, and i went to my IP adress site (to config the router or whatever) to revive it

the net got fixed but now utorrent gives low speeds and has the yellow sign saying ''unless this turns green there can be a problem with your net'' or something similar

i tried to portfoward but all ports say the same (get yellow or red, and lowwww speeds)

any idea?

Do you also have a software firewall that is configured to automatically detect networks? It might be seeing the changes made, as a new network, and as such, isn't configured properly. Did windows firewall get turned on somehow?

I don't know, I never had great luck when we were using a router. Sometimes I got green, most times yellow, sometimes red.

Are you getting slower speeds on regular downloads? If not I would try uninstalling and reinstalling the app in question.

i did that, it's the same

Go to portforwarding.com and find you marke and model of your router and follow the instructions. If you need the user & password for your router you can google that (just google for example 'Linksys AG300 default password') and take it from there.

Well if your not getting top speeds then it because there aren't enough people sharing the file. If you still don't think it's that try another client like Bit Comet.
