Late Oman CTD
1. A random CTD in late game. Managed to bypass earlier with a old save but just got one later.
2. Every tern and oddly on an oddly on a tern before from a save before hand.
3. Happened on tern 154 on old save and 172 on old save redone. Seem to now happen on tern 171.
4. English 2.02 as Oman on Windows XP
5. Before on tern 154 it seemed ERE but 172 CTD happens immediately on my terns end.
6. Strait CTD the moment i hit the tern button.

Re: Late Oman CTD
I'm afraid nothing can be done with it now. It's "malignant CTD". I think that any fix would require restarting the campaign.
Probably there's an error in the files which is very hard to trace. The log doesn't even give any information about it. Sorry. Either you'll try to bypass it or start new campaign.

Re: Late Oman CTD
I think I have somewhat the same problem (hence not opening a new topic):
- Crash to desktop mid game on the strategy map, after going to the next turn ('MTW: 2 encountered an unspecific error and will now exit)'
- It happens after winter 1236 (going to the next turn)
- Im playing with Oman and it seems to happen when Sultanate of Ghazni is making its move. The I get a CTD message
- Tried several actions to see if something was changing (declaring war on Ghazni etc), but no use. If I declare war on Ghazni, they do defend their city, but then i get the CTD.
- I have the 'normal' version MTW2 (english), no Kingdoms, patch 1.03 installed, playing 2.02 BC
- I have Windows XP

Re: Late Oman CTD
I'm afraid that I can only give you the same answer: it seems that you're experiencing the CTD which source may be very well hidden.
GrandViZ will work on it during Christmas work break, so probably we will have fix after new year.
I'm sorry, but you have to wait, guys...
