Default Anyone able to make a companion?

I'm useless beyond editing item stats so I was wondering if anyone here would know how to make The Black Knight from the "None Shall Pass" mod a companion.

If provided with the right text and directions I'll probably be able to put everything where it needs to go manually though.

I can do it, but I need some info first.

1.Is this going to be for Vanilla? If not which mod?

Also I won't be able to make a new companion from scratch but i'll use one of the native companions. Which one do you want me to turn into the Black knight?

Well I'm probably going to be playing Expanded Gameplay III version .95e so I guess I'll go with that, I suppose you could replace Marnid.
Though how thorough a job is this going to be? I was expecting him to come in with his armor and stats.

Kind of detracts from the whole reason I want him besides ass kicking. What's the problem exactly?
Has EG maxed out the number of items or something?

No it's just that I don't know how to take items from one mod and put it to another. Do you still want me to do it?

If I'm not mistaken, the following should work: download the troop editor, edit the "troops.txt" with it and alter the name, skills, attributes and equipment a companion has. You have to save that and then enable edit mode in the start-up screen of Mount & Blade, start a new game, go to your character page and switch characters in the upper right or left corner until you find the companion you seek. Then you can (IIRC) click on his/her face and edit it as you like. You could also save the face code (don't know how, sorry) and enter that in the troop editor, so that you don't need to give a new face to your companion every time you start a new game.
