    Default Modeler, A Modeler I Need!

    Hello Third Age Community

    For those that dont know me, I am the Artful Dodger, or Edd.
    As some of the more inquistive people out there may have noticed, a new sub-mod has arrived, The Ruins of Arnor.
    Currently we are working well and on schedule, however as the only proper, full-time modeler, i am advertising for a new modeler or maybe even two.

    This is everything I am looking for.

    CRITERIA:
    • Knowlegde of a 3D modeling program 3ds Max or Milkshape is good.(Needed)
    • If using 3ds Max, know how to use a pyhton in open MESH files in that program(Needed)
    • If using Milkshape, know how to use GoM converter.(I Can Help Here)
    • Know how to manipulate, edit existing models and/or be able to create basic models i.e-spears/shields/swords.(Needed)
    • Be able to post screenshots of work and progress.(Not Needed, But Handy)
    • Be able to accept constructive critism, no-one likes a moody git.(Needed)
    EXTRA INFORMATION
    • Examples of work MUST be shown to me.
    • This is NOT an invitation to learners, i have no time for tutoring some-one
    • However, if some-one shows good basic foundations and has mastered the basic but is struggling to move on, i may think about a type of apperentice thingy
    • PM me with apllications, dont post here all your work.
    • There are better modeler out there than me, if one of them applies, i am in no postion to jugde, your application will be passed on to the sub-mod leaders- if accpeted, i will then defer to the more experienced modeling.
    JOBS

    Anyone accpeted will be expected to:
    • Model units, existing and strach
    • Create weapons
    • Bind joints(I Can Help)
    • Write model comments(I Can Help)
    • Submit activly to the mod
    • Learn.
    This is what i am currently doing on my own, hence the advertisement. Any applicatants will be expected to try as hard as they can and also accpet peoples views on your modeler, not everyone likes what you may.

    So you are just looking for modelers ? Not hybrids who are able to model, uv-map and skin? You know
    these two extra things that takes twice longer then to create the model itself

    For those who can open a model in milkshape but not take their hand out of their arse and
    learn I recommend this.

    No, i will turn down anyone who can do all those things!!!!!

    Ony joking, apply if you have any talents, but i am mainly looking for modelers.

    I can do many jobs, but modelling isn't among them. And then I have to little time to support another mod, but I hope someone will help you guys out soon.

    Well, we can handle the modelling part, I think; We have some problems in UV mapping and also the texturing will be more time-consuming that anyone may think....
