Could mean anything from a Spanish military base/stronger border control ties to completely handing the place over to Spain. I'd hope he doesn't plan to hand it over, 95% odd (anyone have an exact number?) of the population would be very upset. I'd reckon a similar percent of the UK population wouldn't be amused either.

And you seem perfectly happy that people are making up and peddling lies, what does that make you?

They increased their vote share due to the Labour vote collapsing. They actually got fewer votes than in the previous European election. This is what you get with some absurd French proportional representation bollocks.

The BNP increased their vote nationally by about 20% as anyone with 2 braincells to knock together can see.

The 2 seats where they lost votes were areas that in the last election had been all postal-voting, which significantly increases turnout and hence there was a large drop in turnout this time round when there wasn't all postal-voting. Indeed all the major party's vote dropped in these seats.

That is the reason why the BNP has increased their mandate in working class areas, paticularly in northern England in cities such as Hull. And in coal mining Midland towns such as Shepshead and Coalville. Those 1 million votes almost certainly will not be seen in southern England, rural areas and amongst the middle classes.

The BNP saw it's largest gains in the European Election in the South. And indeed Nick Griffin is standing in Barking, which is very much in the South......

Actually the scots came from Ireland, the welsh have more hold on scotland and england for that matter. For Gibralter, the citizens are british, it should be their choice in the end. Spain has good points regarding the defense of the mainland against smugglers and immigrants. However, their interests should be directed elsewhere notably with the Basques.
