Sweden just conquered the Barbary states.

I'm playing as UP and took a barbary state territory (tripolitiana) for the European shipyard, and to cut down on raids. Then Sweden in 1 turn took the other two territories, then later proceeded to conquer the Knights of St John! That said I once attacked India as Russia so I cant talk...

So whats the most unhistorical, funny, or just plain silly thing you've done or seen happen?

Indeed, though in my case I did it through conquering the whole ottoman empire and Persia first. Marched a general from Moscow to Bijapur building the army as I went, going through more than a dozen cities and vast numbers of my men, incalcuable numbers of Ottomans and Persians. Focussed all my forces on reinforcing him (by land sea and air) so he didn't have to slow down any more than conquering cities required. He was 30 when he set off, 63 when he arrived.

edit: on a tragic note, after surviving all those bullets, cannon balls and elephants he died of old age the next round, before seeing all India conquered.

Mine is the Maratha's appearing in that most northern province of North America - that one right on the corner of the map. They attacked the small trading post there, burnt all my pelts then started creating a new Mumbai in the snow

.....until I took it back, just took a few years as it was so remote. Is now the only trading post in North America to have 4 diffferent curry house.

I cant decide what the most unhistorical thing was so here goes nothing.
1. The Cherokee took all of the Southern US, and then Took all of South America (cpu)
2. The Portuguese got off their lazy bums and took all of Africa within 2 years. (user)
3. The Barbary states took half of Europe (cpu)
4. The Pope called upon god to give him good generals, god responded, god assisted him in taking all of Africa, the Middle East, and the Italian Peninsula, and finally the rest of the ottoman empire...(cpu)

no but pirates did indeed take out fleets of spanish and english trade/ other ships. I didnt state the ships type
