Please. The ETW music is just...boring. The same all the time, and not too good. the M2TW one was much better and diverse.
And also, I see that the graphics are highly improved. Could you also add blood, smoke and other effects?

What I really want to hear are appropiate regimental marches depending on country, including Bagpipes for Scottish and Irish units.

It surprised me that considering 18th century warfare that regimental music was never used in ETW, even though CA did say on the their run-up to release that their would be some kind of musical regimental orders going on. Perhaps they meant the silly little drum sound you hear sometimes.
Way I see it, is if they could not put in such an obvious thing that is a signature of 18th century Western warfare we`re not going to see it now. Mods are your only option and I have used a couple which are quite good.
As for music that the OP mentions, it is true that previous TW titles were MUCH more varied, thematic and exciting (I have them all recorded), however, music is not as important as one could just stick his own music on in the background.
Blood and smoke of course should be added as it was well done in MTW2. Why wasn`t it in ETW, who knows? I thought it was guaranteed after MTW2.
Mods again are the only option for smoke, but there are some good ones. Why CA never made it themselves first time. Who knows.

blood is asking for too much, but there NEEDS to be more atmosphere. I want to hear people's voices more on the BF I want to have better ,music.
Yep, Humble Warrior, mods solve alot of problems, but it would be cool if there would be no need of modders to fix the game...

Blood mod really needed.. I want to see that "Ugly Brawl" as the quote goes.
Hey, anything to increase the immersion factor..
Nobody expects the Imperial Inquisition
Jeff van Dyck was a huge part of Total War. All of the music from Shogun to Kingdoms was him, and he made a DAMNED FINE JOB OF IT.
Empire lacked this, for whatever reasonAnd suffered for it.

I do hope they have great music for Napoleon. Great music helps build atmosphere and immersion. That was one of the things Empire lacked. I also hope that they stop playing the battle music on a loop like they did on Empire as that was very, very annoying.
Blood would be ok, although I'm not really bothered if they leave it in or out.
I don't really understand the want for blood.
Because when a guy gets shot or stabbed with a bayonet, you get blood. We`re not asking for ridiculous amounts of blood or anything just realistic levels. Look at MTW2, one of the only TW games to have blood with mud and done sensibly: the whole feel of fighting and realism and seriouness of it all is enhanced when you actually see blood on bodies. For me it enhances the experience and helps me realise that war is no simple thing to be taken lightly...even in a game.
A splash of blood and good old fashioned muck on uniforms during combat would aid realism. Nothing too extreme...constant decapitations and amputations would put me off my beer slurping during gameplay.
It probably put the British generals off of their tea slurping during battle.
Then again....
Straight to 4:06, unless you choose to watch the whole thing (Brilliant film...)
CA should watch this film, note the smoke and the screams and the confusion and the blood and the tea and the music too, I loved the music in that film!
