carn't make a campaign longer??

ok so i just finished my english campain and i want to start a french one. but i want more time to complete it, so im trying to change the timescale from 2.00 to 1.00 but whenever i try it says this.

cannot create the C:/program Files/Sega/medieval2 total war/data/worlds/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/descr_strat.text file. make sure the path and file name is correct.

Then it goes to save as so i try to save and this happens


descr_strat.txt
This file exists with read Only attributes.
Pleas use a different File name.

Right click on descr_strat, click properties, uncheck read-only, and hit "apply" or "ok". now you can make changes.

Would suggest making a copy of it and putting it in a safe place in case there is some error or something down the line.
