Default How do you put a stop to corruption?

I am playing as the high elves and I was wondering how you put a stop to corruption, within the cities. I have relocated my capital for additional income but this corruption will not go away. It is costing me about 4000 a turn, lol. Please help!

    Other than relocating your capital...

    1. Build law boosting buildings such as town hall, town watch, etc.

    2. Use a governor and build buildings that help him aquire positive traits (libraries etc).

Use the button at bottom left to check how the bars will shift after constructing the building. You won't to see things which make corruption flicker (meaning it will decrease). If a building has an effect it will show up.

That's awesome I always went down the coast to capture the Lond... settlements to increase coastal trade. Then I have some fun ambushing OotMM and slaughtering Snaga armies in the Trollshaw forests. Move through Eregion to capture Moria, makes you about 3k a turn from the get go At the same time my northern army moves up to take coldfells and then up through Angmar to take out the castles up there. I tend to buy High Pass from the Dwarves, just so I can move through the mountains without upsetting relations. Also makes a ton of money through mining. After that point OotMM aren't really a threat anymore and the Eriador region is pretty peaceful so I go after Isengard to keep the pressure off Rohan.
I set up a mammoth invasion of about 6 halfstacks (my house rules keep elven armies low in numbers) which all besieged a different settlement in tthe same turn. Isengard at that point had swallowed up Dunland and all the settlements between the gap of rohan and Lond Angren so with my mammoth invasion I took the all! That was kind of fun to look at the faction ranking graph for territory :p
After that it's down to Gondor's aid by ship (massive armada). Take Umbar and Tolfalas, Osgiliath and Andros (If it's held by Mordor) and build those settlement up so I can train ELdar, cause reinforcing Harondor from Rivendell is absolutely impossible. From there it is just general warfare against Mordor while containing Harad and placating them with peace treaties and gifts to keep them off my flank.

    How do you play it?

Seriously why can't you ask this in the other thread you opened which is exactly about the same?
And beside that I heard the search function also helps. But because I'm nice and gentle I searched for you. You can reduce corruption by doing this:

    1. Go to SEGA\Medieval II Total War\mods\Third_Age\data
    2. Find descr_settlement_mechanics.xml and open it with notepad
    3. Search for <factor name="SIF_CORRUPTION"> and change the value next to it from 1.0 to 0.5
    4. You can also change <factor name="SOF_DISTANCE_TO_CAPITAL"> from 16 to 8 if you want
