High Elves economy sucks

I dibt know what is going on. I am on turn 85 and I have only took 3 provinves( 2 on thue west side and Goblin town) and I have a half stack army and I am only getting 1000 per turn. I have been working on my economy the whole time with upgraded walls, farms, ports, merchant buidings, and roads. What is the deal with this? Anyone having the dame issue?

Relocate your capital to Mithlond. This greatly increases you trade in the four port cities. This is similar to the Gondor trick of moving capital to Tarnost.

I played my first campaign as HE (v1.3 vanilla) and I had something like 3000 a year loss to corruption near the start, eventually i was making 10k profit a turn with 30k corruption, I had 40 provinces but geez the corruption is ridiculous!
I tried to think of it as govt money spent on paintings, or working hours spent composing poetry, cause I know Elrond would have done that over tax collecting any day of the week

Move your capital to the center of your kingdom.
Build law buildings (lower tier barracks, city halls).
Put governors with good traits in towns and remove governors with bad traits.

Not a clue, I wish I knew, then I would've been making SO MUCH more money!
Maybe the only counter is to work up Taxman traits??? That could work

Also for a note on traits, check out http://totalwar.honga.net/faction.php?v=third_age go to your preferred faction and click 'traits' in the menu along the top of the bar with your factions name in it. The 'traits' section tells you all the traits and their triggers so you can cheat a bit and tailor your actions to acquiring those traits.
