When will the NTW Demo be out?

For empire tw it was only 15 days before.

15 days before? hope NTw demo will be here in late january

to not be dissapointed I won't expect anything at all but late january would be the same as etw(arround 2 weeks). and I rlly want to see the new game in movement instead of watching pictures so I hope a bit earlyer.

Wait in Steam the NTW gonna to be release on March 2010 .......

I'l stick with $ because by the time I am proven wrong I will probably only owe the equivalent of $3. Sorry about your brother. In his honor I will change the date to January 22.

I don't think they will release a Demo for NTW, I don't think the game is big enough for a demo

No demo? Never seen a game with no demo... They'll certainly release a demo, sooner or later...

And to play it we will need steam. GREAT!!!

Besides it's minor glitches and c***s, it's still useful for MP gaming.

When CA decide that's ETW was failed...

If they stick to 26th Feb for release (I doubt it ) then I'd suppose around Valentines day. What a gift that would be....

The graphics and animation isn`t as good, but the gameplay is far indepth. You can do all sorts of things with your troops. I spent an hour on it yesterday just getting used to all the new orders and fumbling about.

Thankfully just when the enemy got near, the BAI on my side started to act without me (I didn`t expect that). It set up its artillery and began bombarding the oncoming troops, sending them on one flank running. Later, I realised there was another battle going on way way to my right flank which again the BAI on my side were dealing with. there was even one incident where I randomly ordered some horses up to the frontline just for something to do and the BAI ordered it back again! lol!

I noticed that there were actual proper bits of military music being played.

The smoke effects are not very much. Much more smoke needed, but again that`s just visuals.

Their seems to only be battles. I wish there was a whole dynamic campaign as i love big world campaigns.


It`s going to take some getting used to all the orders and controls though especially since i`ve been so used to the TW system, but it`s much more realistic than Empires by far even if graphically it don`t look as good. Excellent stuff. An alternative.

I`ll be looking out for this in the shops.
