First, if mods want to re-title this, be my guest. Second, if they want to move it, again. If one of these has already been done and I didn't find it, once again.

    Found this on wikipedia:
As said by Mike Simpson from CA, if something looks like it will effect the battle, it probably would, like when rain gunpowder will backfire, and landscape will affect your range of fire. You'll also see little quirky things like dead cavarly men stuck in their saddle being dragged around by their panicked horse.
Is this true? If so, does anyone know anything more about this?
    Is she... you know...

doubt it. Mike Simpson probably wrote the wiki article on NTW anyways. I don't believe from them until they show it since they lied with so many features in ETW, how do i know they won't just lie once again.

"we're way way pre-alpha and what that means is there is loads of features not just in terms of the graphics but also in terms of the combat and animations that actually aren't in the game yet.So the final game is actually gonna look way way better than this!” - James Russell, CA
Just like the elephant animation, this Carthage scenario is actually in the game, it just has a small percantage factor for showing up, that's all...

    Beware of scoundrels

    Misfires happen in ETW

Just watch the line close and you will see people looking down on their rifles with nothing happening.

Dunno if rain affects it tough.

    But misfires happen

We will see, I would like to see men being killed by their own backfire. It would be more interesting.

Lol, looks like N:TW's Wiki entry was written by a small child! Every damned sentence is wrong!

Napoleon Total War is the latest release from the Creative Assembly. It will have 355 unique and historic units. As with Empire Total War being seen as historically inaccurate and unchallenging, Napoleon Total War as stated by the Creative Assembly "will perfect everything Empire Total War was meant to be." It will contain 3 separate campaigns, the first two will be story based upon Napoleon's first two major campaigns; The Italian campaign in 1796 and the Egyptian campaign in 1798. In these you will have numerous mission objectives which you may complete if you wish. In the Grand Campaign or "The Mastery of Europe" you will have numerous missions set to you, but you do not have to accomplish them if you wish, you may just complete the overall goal of conquering a certain amount of regions as you did in previous titles. There is also now the option for a drop in multiplayer campaign mode. When playing the campaign in single player, and you intercept the enemy and prepare for battle, you may choose to open up you server and allow any real person waiting in the multiplayer lobby to join and fight that certain battle against you.
All of Napoleon's major battles such as Austerlitz will all be available as historical scenarios seperate to the campaign. There has also been promised a unit editor which may add depth to battles. A new battle physics system has been implemented, so when cannon balls hit the ground, they'll leave dents, and so forth. As said by Mike Simpson from CA, if something looks like it will effect the battle, it probably would, like when rain gunpowder will backfire, and landscape will affect your range of fire. You'll also see little quirky things like dead cavalry men stuck in their saddle being dragged around by their panicked horse. The campaign map will now be a lot more "zoomed in" and more detailed. With turns being now only 2 weeks compared to previous titles with turns of 6 months. This Total War will also try to support the modifacation communities on the internet such as the Total War Centre, and so forth, as the Creative Assembly have recieve many complaints about the lack of modding resources. Napoleon: Total War will also come with many new features in multiplayer such as a uniform editor, and a voice command utility to speak to other players via Steam.

    • Multiplayer: Napoleon features multiple multiplayer modes with many features and numerous online functions.
    • Steam achievements, game play bonuses, uniform editor and voice communications.
    • Many Napoleonic battles and advanced weapons to allow for large battles and more options in the campaign.
    • A new uniform system including over 355 uniquely made historical uniforms.

I will try to fix it. >_>
